Kinran refers to woven fabric that uses gold thread, silver thread, and various colored threads to create patterns representing the four seasons. It has been used for various purposes since ancient times, and its splendid colors and traditional designs have been cherished as representative crafts of Japan. At Shinsendo, we have tailored this kinran into a form to be actively incorporated into modern life. Please enjoy the wa-modern proposed by Shinsendo. This is a pair set of tea mats made from vibrant kinran fabric reminiscent of obi. The pair set comes in a box. It is wrapped in washi-style wrapping paper, making it perfect for gifts.
