Converse Skid Grip Low 'Twisted Plaid - Egret' (Unisex) Egret / Multi / Egret Canvas Shoes 169218C

Speaking of the Converse Skidgrip, though relatively unknown, it is undoubtedly one of Converse's original, foundational shoe models. Its predecessor—the Circular Vamp Oxford (abbreviated as CVO)—was launched in the 1920s, meaning it has nearly a century of history to date. Having appeared successively in tennis and basketball, the CVO underwent four decades of evolution before Converse fully rebranded it as the Skidgrip in the 1960s. Previously, both collaborations were based the Converse Chuck 70 silhouette, featuring signature black-and-white color scheme. This final release, however, breaks free from convention: not only does it adopt the highly niche Converse Skidgrip silhouette, but its colorway is also exceptionally bold and vibrant—completely overturning tradition.
