About the 4-Piece Set: Two Half-Moon Trays and Two Lacquered Chopsticks To make your New Year's celebrations even more special, we are offering a set of two popular half-moon trays and two easy-to-use wooden lacquered chopsticks. The half-moon trays are lacquered on both sides, black and vermilion. Serving Osechi (traditional New Year's food) on these trays will undoubtedly enhance the festive New Year's atmosphere! Of course, they can be used not only during the New Year's season, but also as serving trays or placemats for breakfast, dinner, and other everyday occasions. These trays are highly valued as tools for creating an authentic Japanese atmosphere, and we receive orders from Japanese restaurants, hotels, and inns throughout Japan. These half-moon trays are manufactured entirely in the Kishu lacquerware region of Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture, from the raw materials to the lacquering process. The lacquering is done in our own workshop. Because we handle everything from lacquering to inspection and shipping in-house, we are confident in delivering safe and reliable products.
