Hippopotamus Imabari Organic Hand Brand Cotton Bamboo Made in Made in Japan Towel, Handkerchief, Name, Women's & Men's, High-Quality Towel,

[A short-pile handkerchief towel you'll want to carry with you every day] A classic Hippopotamus towel woven with organic cotton and bamboo rayon (recycled bamboo fiber). [People-friendly material] By weaving two different fibers, recycled bamboo fiber (bamboo rayon) and organically grown cotton, in a half-and-half pattern on the surface, a complex and impressive coloring and a uniquely refreshing wiping feel are achieved. Bamboo rayon not only has the luster of silk and the feel of cashmere, but also has about twice the water absorption capacity of cotton and dries quickly. By weaving in organic cotton, durability and heat retention are created. The organic cotton used is yarn that has been certified to international organic fiber standards, including not only the cotton fields but also the spinning mill. [Earth-Friendly Process] We use bamboo rayon, a new plant-based recycled fiber that is environmentally conscious and is a natural eco-material that grows in a cycle of approximately three years. We also use additive-free organic cotton, demonstrating our commitment to both the environment and quality. For the final washing process, we select groundwater from Mt. Ishizuchi, the highest peak in western Japan, which is soft water and results in a soft texture. The wastewater is treated with bacteria before being returned to nature. We value not only quality but also the production process. [This product is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified] Hippopotamus towels are certified under the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, a world-leading standard for safe textile products, specifically Product Class 1, the most stringent standard. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is awarded only to products that meet stringent standards covering over 350 hazardous chemicals, representing the world's highest level of textile safety. It serves as an important indicator for trade and consumption in over 100 countries. *Certification number N-KEN16029 [Product Details] Hand towel / Size: 25 x 25 cm / Yarn: 63% organically grown cotton + 37% recycled bamboo fiber bamboo rayon / Color: White / Renoir's "Country Dance/City Dance" / [Care Instructions] Washing with plenty of water makes it easier to remove dirt and prevents lint shedding and pile crushing. Drum-type washing machines are set to a low water level, so we recommend setting the water level higher. After spinning, shake the towel vigorously about 5 times to make the pile stand up before hanging it to dry, which will help maintain its fluffiness for longer. Also, spinning the towel on a low setting in the dryer just before it dries will make it even softer. If the pile has stretched out, cut it at the base with scissors, taking care not to damage the towel fabric. This is a classic Hippopotamus towel made from a blend of organic cotton and bamboo rayon (recycled bamboo fiber).
