These are photochromic lenses that change tint depending on the amount of light. They become lighter indoors or at night (approximately 10% tint), medium tint inside a car (approximately 50% tint), and darker outdoors in bright sunlight (approximately 90% tint). They also offer blue light filtering, blocking approximately 35% of blue light. These are stylish and cool color-changing sunglasses in a large size, designed for men. The temple ends are made of rubber for enhanced comfort and fit. Inside a car, the lenses will have a moderate tint (approximately 40-50% density) *they will not become completely dark. Car windshields have UV protection. Ordinary photochromic lenses change color in response to ultraviolet light, so they are not effective inside a car. ARTtypeEX lenses react to visible light, so they can be used inside a car. Outdoors, the lenses will have a dark tint (80-90% density). Ordinary photochromic lenses are easily affected by temperature changes, and will not darken as easily in high temperatures. ARTtypeEX lenses have a much higher tint density compared to ordinary photochromic lenses, and will perform well even in high-temperature environments. A lens cleaning cloth and folding case are included as a service.
