Product Introduction
The third-generation C10 Skyline, introduced in 1968, saw a dramatic increase in sales thanks to the "Skyline of Love" advertising campaign that began the following year and the success of the GT-R on the racetrack. This established the Skyline's unique image of being both strong and gentle.
The 2000GT, a continuation of the S54 series, featured a change to Nissan's L20 engine, evolving into a more refined GT car.
In 1971, the 2000GT-X, equipped with the same twin-carb engine as the Fairlady Z, also appeared, maintaining its immense popularity.
Even today, its reputation remains undiminished, and it remains a globally popular model, often referred to as the "Hakusuka."
A new specification of the GT series is now available. This model recreates the police car specification, of which only a small number were deployed.
Enjoy the details from the body lines, including the "surfing line" flowing down the rear fender, and the front grille and rear garnish that differ depending on the model year.
