Electric
Arc Length: When input is 12V 5A, the length of electric arc is about
12cm. The more input voltage and current, the greater output power,
the longer electric arc. The highest input is 30V 10A, and electric
arc can be 5 cm or more.If the arc is too short, please check if input
power is sufficient.
Power
Supply: If you use battery as power supply, model airplane battery with
more than 25C discharge rate is suggested. Please do not use ordinary
battery of electric vehicles.If you use the switchedmode power supply,
use one of 12V and current should be more than 5 A. 24V switchedmode
power supply(or linear power supply) should provide current more than
15A. If current is not sufficient, the tube will be breakdown.
Power:
The output power depends on input power. If you use a 30W power supply,
even with a 200w ZVS the output power won"t reach 100W. So the input
power of power supply must be sufficient. Power = voltage * current.
If
you use a high power switchedmode power supply, please note it may
have a soft start function, namely circuit minimizes large startup
currents from flowing when the input power is first applied. Now suppose
that ZVS circuit is connected before the voltage reaches up to 12V,
electrical resonance will not occur because of a low starting voltage,
to two MOS tube breakover at the same time and burned component.
So start up the switch power supply first, and connect to ZVS circuit
after the voltage reaches 12V.

Note
:
1. Make sure all components are connected and welded correctly.
2. The suggested voltage for testing is 12V, in case board is burnt because of faulty connection.
3. Maximum input is 30V DC, 10A(Not suggested), please do not use for long time over high voltage and current.
4. Not suitable for induction heating.
