I. Mode Setting (default factory is electronic load mode) :
Press and hold the start stop button (small red button) and power the tester at the same time, release the button until Fun* is displayed, and change the setting by rotating the knob, "Fun1" is the electronic load mode, "Fun2" is the battery capacity test mode. Press the start and stop button to enter the buzzer setting, and also rotate the knob to set the "bEon" buzzer on or "bEoF" buzzer off. After the setting is complete, press the start and stop button again to restart the tester.
Ii. Electronic Load Mode:
1. Turn on the 12V working power supply and enter the electronic load mode, ensure that it is in the stopped state (the "RUN" light is off, otherwise press the start and stop switch to turn off the load), connect the tested power supply to the test input power port (P+P), pay attention to the polarity is not wrong!
2. Set the current and lower voltage through the knob, rotate the knob to set the value of the current setting position, press the knob to switch the setting digit, the two digital indicators in the middle of the digital tube and the VA indicator on the right side of the digital tube to determine the current setting position.
3. Press the startstop switch, the load starts to RUN, and "RUN" lights up. The circuit applies the set discharge current to the input power supply under test, and displays the actual input load voltage upstream.
4. The current can be modified at any time during the test process. If the lower voltage needs to be modified, the load needs to be stopped before it can be modified.
Note: When in the alarm state, the current can only be turned down can not be turned up! The automatic power failure saving function of the tester can save the set parameters and operating status. After power failure, the status and data before power failure will be completely restored.
Iii. Battery Capacity Test Mode:
1. The tested battery should be fully charged with a special charger first!
2. Power on the tester to enter the battery capacity test mode, and connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery current line to the P+P terminals. If the four wire fixture test is used, please connect the positive and negative terminals of the four wire fixture voltage test port to the V+V port.
3. Set The Discharge Current And Discharge Termination Voltage By Rotating the knob (refer to II: 2 description for specific methods), after the setting, press the start and stop switch, the tester first detects the battery and the line, automatically identifies 24 lines (2 line identification shows JS2, 4 line identification shows JS4, if the display is wrong, please stop the test and check the wiring), and then enters the test, if there is a fault code, please refer to the following description.
4. During the test process, the upstream digital tube will wheel display the battery voltage, current discharge capacity Ah and current discharge energy Wh. When the discharge is over (the battery voltage is lower than the set voltage), the tester will display the data to stay at Ah and blink rapidly, accompanied by a rapid alarm sound of the buzzer.
5. Press the knob or start stop switch to stop the alarm, you can rotate the knob to view the battery discharge data including discharge capacity Ah, discharge energy Wh and platform voltage V. After pressing the start stop button again, clear the data and restore to the initial setting interface before testing the next battery.
Additional Note:
1. The discharge current can be adjusted at any time during the battery test. If the termination voltage needs to be re adjusted, you can suspend the discharge modification by pressing the start stop switch (the suspended discharge will return to the setting page, and the discharged data will not be lost at this time. If you need to clear the zero data, you can long press the start stop switch until 0.000Ah is displayed).
2. The automatic saving of the tester power failure can record the set parameters, and record all parameters and states when the power failure occurs during the test process and the alarm state at the end of the test, and all will be automatically restored after re powering.
Fail Safe Code And Meaning:
Err1: The battery voltage of the capacity test is too high.
Err2: The battery voltage is lower than the set stop voltage, the battery is not connected or the battery is incorrectly connected.
Err3: The internal resistance of the line is too large or the battery cannot withstand the set discharge current.
Err4: The circuit is faulty.
Err6: The working power supply is not suitable. Please use the standard 12V regulated power supply with the power current not less than 0.5A.
OtP: Overheat protection.
Ert: The temperature probe is faulty or the temperature is too low.
OuP: High voltage in electronic load mode.
OPP: Instant super high power in electronic load mode..
