When using the iron kettle for the first time, please fill it with water up to about 80% of its capacity and discard the water. Repeat this process 3 to 5 times to wash away any foreign substances inside. Do not scrub the interior with a brush or fingers. Next, boil water and discard it 2 to 3 times. Once the boiled water is clear, it is ready for use. It takes about two weeks for the iron kettle to start showing its benefits, so it is recommended to use it daily during this period.
Regarding Heat Sources: The way to boil water in an iron kettle is by burning charcoal, but you can also use a gas stove or IH cooker. However, in that case, please use low heat. Note that some IH cookers may not heat kettles with a bottom diameter of less than 12 cm. For inquiries about IH cookers, please contact the manufacturer. For inquiries about Nambu iron kettles, please contact HwaGui.
Care Instructions for IH Compatible Teapot: Wipe the outside of the kettle with a dry cloth. Additionally, while the kettle is occasionally wipe the outside with a cloth soaked in slightly brewed tea to gradually create a unique luster on the surface. Do not wash the inside or outside of the kettle with detergent or scrub it with a brush.
Iron Kettle Sizes: 0.3L, 0.6L, 0.8L, 1.2L.
Caution: Since the kettle is made of iron, even with careful drying, you may notice red discoloration that could appear as rust. Do not panic and scrub it with a brush; instead, boil water in it. If the boiled water is clear, there is no problem. If the boiled water is cloudy, it indicates "kanake," which is an issue. Water boiled in a kettle with kanake is not tasty. As long as you do not leave it wet, this condition should not occur. A little rust is not harmful, and as you use it, "yuuaka" will accumulate, making the rust less noticeable, allowing the kettle to "grow."
When not in use for a long time, store it in a well-ventilated area without wrapping it in cloth or paper. However, an iron kettle that has not been used for an extended period will take about a week to regain its previous water quality. It is advisable to boil water in it at least once a month, ensuring it is thoroughly dried before returning it to its original place.

To heat the kettle and boil water, burning charcoal is the method, but using a gas stove or induction cooker is also acceptable. However, please use low heat in such cases.
Under no circumstances should you wash the inside of the kettle with detergent or scrub it with a brush, as this will damage the inner coating.
A healthy iron teapot continuously releases Fe2+ during the warming process, making it easily absorbable by the body.
