Dual Use for Iron or Aluminum: This thickness gauge is used to measure the thickness of the plating layer or coating on the metal face, specifically to measure the thickness of the non magnetic coating layer on the face of magnetic materials such as steel and iron (such as paint and ceramics), and also to measure the thickness of the coating layer on the face of non magnetic materials such as copper and aluminum (such as coating).
3. Two Measurement Principles: The coating thickness meter uses two principle of electromagnetic induction and eddy current effect. It can non destructively measure the thickness of non magnetic coating layer (such as paint, plastic, copper, zinc, etc.) on magnetic metal substrates (such as steel, iron and alloys) and the thickness of non conductive coating layer (oxide film, plastic, paint, etc.) on non magnetic metal substrates (such as copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, etc.).
4. High Sensitive Sensor: The thickness gauge adopts high sensitive sensors and probes to automatically identify the properties of the substrate, when the identified substrate is a magnetically conductive material (steel or iron), the thickness of the coating layer is measured using the magnetic induction principle, and the screen displays Fe, when the identified substrate is a conductive material (aluminum or copper), the thickness of the coating layer is measured using the eddy current effect, and the screen displays NF.
5. Two Modes One Key Switch: Paint thickness gauge can do single point measurement and continuous measurement mode one key switch, convenient for various measurement needs.
