・A structure designed for long-term repairability: The main unit can be disassembled using special tools, making repairs easy and reflecting a design intended for long-term use. ・A customized fit: We revisited fundamental principles to rethink comfortable, non-constricting fit, leading us to a design that secures the earphone at two points while lightly supporting it at a third. Similar to a tripod, any housing benefits from stable positioning when held at three points. These points are one at the green portion of the diagram (earpiece), one at the blue portion (tragus), and one at the pink portion (concha – the hollow of the ear), for a total of three. We’ve adopted a method where the earpiece and tragus gently hold the earphone, while it lightly touches the pink portion (concha) to prevent it from falling out. This clear contact point design allows for a comfortable fit for a wider range of ears. If there’s no pressure during wear, you’ll realize just how comfortable earphones can be, achieving a fit comparable to custom-made earphones. ・Stainless steel housing using MIM (Metal Injection Molding): MIM involves mixing metal powder with a binder, molding it like resin, and then sintering and shaping it at high temperatures. Like resin molded products, it offers a high degree of design freedom, allowing for complex internal designs despite being metal. ・MMCX Connector + Original OFC Cable: The MMCX connector is a proprietary development. The cable uses a soft, flexible sheath material to minimize touch noise. It bends easily when using ear hooks, ensuring a secure fit.
