This single microphone achieves optimal sound collection according to the shooting scene. If you select the stereo mode, two cardioid microphone units separated at a 120° angle will operate, allowing you to record realistic sounds when shooting nature, urban sounds, concerts, etc. In monaural mode, a supercardioid microphone unit similar to the SGM-250 operates, ensuring that the desired sound is captured. When the subject or musical instrument is at the edge of the screen, the oscillating mechanism allows the microphone to move approximately 30 degrees left or right, making it possible to point the microphone toward the center of the subject to ensure a more focused sound. Low-cut switch Attenuates low frequency levels below 120Hz to reduce noise from air conditioners, wind, traffic, etc. Uniquely developed power supply mode "Auto" By connecting to the camera, it automatically detects whether the camera is turned on or off, and the microphone is also linked to switch battery power on and off, preventing battery consumption due to forgetting to turn off the power. 3-stage gain control Gain is switchable in 3 stages: +20dB/0dB/-10dB. In quiet environments such as indoor interviews, reduce the gain on the camera side and select +20dB to minimize noise from the camera's preamplifier. You can attach it to a tripod or boom pole using the 1/4 inch female thread on the bottom of the camera mounting shoe mount.
