Product Introduction

Giganotosaurus was one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs. It roamed what is now Argentina during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 99.6 million to 97 million years ago.

For a long time, T. rex was considered the largest carnivorous dinosaur.

Giganotosaurus is now believed to have been slightly larger than Tyrannosaurus, but even Giganotosaurus lags behind in size among more recently discovered carnivorous dinosaurs.
