How to Use and Care for the Chasen Set: ✅ The tea whisk cannot be used in boiling water; it will be severely deformed if exposed to boiling water; 2. After using the tea whisk, the bamboo threads will expand and straighten; this is normal. ✅ Natural bamboo products may have slight burrs, burrs, or knots. If this bothers you, please refrain from taking photos. 4. Do not expose bamboo products or utensils to sunlight, baking, or prolonged immersion in water. Discoloration after repeated use and washing is normal. ✅ Do not return the tea whisk to the original plastic box after use. Since tea is stored in a sealed environment without natural paint, bamboo is prone to mold, so we recommend placing it in a tea brewer and letting it air dry to help it harden. ✅ Care for matcha tea spoons and bamboo spoons is the same as for tea spoons: after washing, place them in a well-ventilated area to air dry. How do I choose the right teaspoon? 🌸While Wild Point tea spoons are commonly used for baking, Hyakuhonri tea spoons are common for matcha and other matcha drinks and are recommended for beginners and those new to the tea industry. 🌸Depending on the number of bamboo tufts in a chasen, different strengths and qualities of matcha can be brewed at once; fewer tufts will result in a thicker soup.
The thicker the teaspoon, the thinner the soup will be. 🌸 Matched teaspoons, bamboo spoons, and teaspoons are commonly used tools at matcha events, so we recommend choosing matching ones for more convenience and ease of use.
