This gunmetallic model is based on the SP-650 and features a gunmetallic finish. It inherits the design philosophy of the Brasspire Unicorn, developed in collaboration with professional players, and is designed to meet the most demanding performance demands. It also features a high F# and front F key, standard on modern saxophones. Its sharp yet rich tone is ideal for solo playing. The gunmetal finish retains the hard, sharp tone of black nickel, while offering greater control. Professional input has been reflected in the key positions, allowing for a truly enjoyable playing experience. The body is made of brass, the most common material for saxophones. It produces the bright, crisp tone characteristic of a saxophone. The gunmetal finish adds a scratched finish to each black nickel-coated part. The gunmetal finish retains the hard, sharp tone characteristic of black nickel, while also being easier to control. The neck is interchangeable and comes in two styles: straight and curved. You can choose the one that best suits your playing style and tone. Straight: Light and bright with a direct sound. When holding the instrument, you feel like you're lifting it up more than with other saxophones. Curved: Moderate playing feel and a slightly softer sound. The instrument lies slightly flatter than a straight neck when held, so there's less discomfort when switching from another saxophone.
