Kominato Railway operates a railway line with an operating distance of approximately 39 km, connecting Goi Station and Kazusa-Nakano Station in Chiba Prefecture.
The Kiha 200 series is a company-ordered vehicle that debuted in 1961, with 14 cars making their debut.
There are minor differences depending on the year of manufacture, such as the shape of the sides and passenger doors.
In recent years, some cars have been replaced by Kiha 40 series cars transferred from JR East, but they are still in active service today, more than 60 years after their debut.
This product recreates the Kiha 205, which has a red rain gutter on the upper side and reproduces the livery from the 1970s and 1980s, and the later model Kiha 211, which is equipped with non-pressed doors and unit sashes and has the car number printed on the front.
By using a separately sold power unit and N gauge running parts, these cars can be run as N gauge model trains.
We recommend the TM-15 (20m class A3) power unit and the TT-03R running parts set.
