This is a dedicated smelt fishing rod for dome boats and ice fishing, featuring a flat fiberglass tip. The original mounting system allows you to easily swap out the tip with any 5mm diameter tip you like. The innovative skeleton grip is excellent for protecting the tip when stored. To use, simply remove the tip stored inside the grip and reattach it upside down. The included tip uses a highly sensitive flat glass solid material. The rod comes in two action types: SSS action and S action. The counter version includes a baitcasting reel with a built-in line counter. The spinning version includes a small spinning reel. Suitable for dome boat fishing, ice fishing, pier fishing, etc. *We recommend replacing the rod tip with one that is 21cm or shorter. Rod tips longer than this cannot be stored in the grip. *The mount is designed to be stiff. If it is difficult to remove, wrap it with a cloth or similar material and then use pliers to grasp the resin part at the base and remove it.
