Quick drag allows you to instantly adjust drag tension with just a few turns of the drag knob.
Drag can be adjusted with the usual 1/4 to 1/2 turn, allowing you to instantly respond to sudden fish thrusts.
Even when using extremely light line, aggressive drag action allows you to quickly take on big fish.
You can tune up your reel just by replacing the drag knob.

*Handling the "SF (Super Finesse)"*
This product is designed for limited use in bass fishing, area trout, native trout, and light saltwater fishing, and is designed to deliver ultimate performance as a "Super Finesse (SF)" dedicated reel. As a result, the reel's settings are outside of our normal in-house specifications. Please understand this is a product characteristic.
*Handling Precautions*
1. Do not reel with excessive tension. Winding the line with excessive tension can cause spool deformation and rotation problems.
When reeling the line, we recommend using the recommended line tension (100g for fluoro, nylon, and ester lines, 200g for PE lines).
2. We recommend a drag setting of 800g or less. Winding the line under heavy load can cause rotation problems. Please be especially careful when reeling in a lure after it has been snagged or when retrieving a lure that has become covered in seaweed. Also, be careful not to overtighten the drag knob, as this may result in damage.
3. This reel is designed for line sizes up to approximately 4lb for fluorocarbon, nylon, or ester lines, and up to 0.6 for PE lines.
However, the strength standards are specifically designed for "SF (Super Finesse)" reels, so please use with care.
